Child's Play

Kenny Bell is
a native Californian, who presently resides in the Bay Area where he makes
his living as a Tech Director and carpenter. He has a BA in Drama from
San Francisco State University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Saint
Mary's College of California. His one act plays have been performed in
San Francisco, LA and New York. His most recent two act play, EPIPHANY
VARIATIONS, concerns a suicidal Jazz bassist remembering and imagining
an episode from his childhood, a Christmas story his mother, a Joyce scholar,
read him, a half-remembered event in the life of Joyce and his own Irish
wake. Each tale swirls and blurs in a moving, sexy and literate telling.
Cast: 4 men, 4 women and a 10-12 year old boy. |
